About this Event

Video game depictions are a far cry from the reality of military operations, but they do have one thing in common— both depend on synthetic environments, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and other technologies to accomplish their missions. That’s why the US Army is turning to industry pioneers for help developing the next generation of Army training. By building tactics, techniques, and procedures into synthetic training environments (STE) that mirror the real world, the Army wants to deliver immersive training experiences for Soldiers to help them perform, respond, and stay safe in any situation.

Join leaders from the Army’s STE Cross Functional Team (CFT) and experts from Austin’s technology ecosystem to get the inside track on how the military is approaching next-gen training and how you can get involved.
